As we prepare to unveil our newest line of porcelain tile, we’re inspired to think about the creative process that architects, designers and all who envision the look and lay-out of spaces undertake “in the beginning” of any project.
This creative process is often daunting, as projects just begun have no structure. There are lists of requirements and ideas that have yet to converge. Styles, specifications and timelines are not yet defined. It’s the role of the design visionary to bring order to chaos and structure to the unstructured.
We developed Structure, our soon-to-launch line, as an answer to the earliest design dilemmas faced during any project. Just as artists can’t begin to paint if there is no canvas, we at Crossville know that designers can’t create without the right backdrop—the fundamental structure—in place. That’s why our new line is so versatile, so foundational…and beautiful, as well.
Join us to discover how Crossville plans to answer the most basic design questions that arise “in the beginning” of most projects. Over the course of the coming days, we’ll respond to six common questions with practical solutions that bring Structure to great design. Stay tuned!
